These are a few select images from a yet-undisclosed video game from a Canadian studio. We set out to portray the game’s narrative through medieval embroideries, and 20+ illustrations were created for the production. We wanted an authentic medieval look for each image, but with a sense of humour to make it engaging to a contemporary audience — it was a fun line to walk. Each embroidery has interactive gilding, so players can move the light source around and highlight different areas of the image as they listen to the tale.
